FAQ - Eyeliner

Q: Will the procedure cause any pain?

A: Although it may be hard to believe, the process of semi-permanent eyeliner is pain-free.

Q: Will I experience discomfort or visible signs after the treatment?

A: After the treatment, it is common to experience a rubbing sensation in your eyes. If necessary, you can find relief by using eyedrops. In the morning of the second day, it is normal for your eyes to appear swelling. To reduce this swelling, we recommend applying an ice pack for as long as possible.

Q: What can I expect during the healing process? How long does it take to heal?

A: The healing process typically takes about 3 to 5 days. It is important to avoid picking, peeling, or scratching the treated area.

Q: How much time does each session typically require?

A: On average, each session lasts approximately 2 hours.

Q: How many sessions are required?

A: The treatment typically consists of two sessions, six weeks apart.

Q: Do I need a touch-up session? Why is it necessary and what does it involve? How long does it take?

A: Yes, a touch-up session is recommended to ensure long-lasting results. Without a touch-up session, the effects may not last.

The purpose of a touch-up session is to address areas where the skin may not have absorbed the pigment as well. During the touch-up session, additional application is done to enhance those areas as needed.

A touch-up session typically takes approximately one and a half to two hours.

Q: What type of pigment is used?

A: At iBrow Studio, we use premium organic pigments that have been extensively tested for safety. Our pigments are of the highest quality and are guaranteed to retain their original colour throughout their lifespan. It's important to note that we do not use tattoo ink in our procedures.

Q: How long can I expect the results to last?

A: The results typically last for up to 12 months; however, this duration can vary based on individual factors such as metabolism, lifestyle, and skin type. It's important to note that activities like swimming, exercise, sunbathing, and the use of sun-beds can potentially diminish the longevity of the results.
